THE NATURE JOURNAL
TASK: We need to watch a movie documentary entitled '' Earth (2007) '' and write down our personal experiences and thoughts using an infographic method. We need to sketch out and describe in detail of elements that we personally investigated through the ‘EARTH’ movie documentary.
PROGRESSION
Week 1
I watch the documentary 3 times to capture the scene clearly, and also to find out which species of flora and fauna that I want to choose for the nature journal. After deciding the species, I research those specific types of flora and fauna using the ''Google Photos.'' platform. It is convenient and easy to use. Knowing all those species types, I move on to get more information about them. It is the first time I use the infographic manner to elaborate information in detail so it is quite a time-consuming task. All the reference link need to be jotted down so that I can refer back to it.
Week 2
I get this poster design's inspiration from Pinterest.
Draft out using pencil.
Week 3
I started to draw and sketch out all of the draft I have completed in week 2 using pen, taking online pictures as reference. Use also butter paper to trace out the pictures on A4 paper. I decide to use monochrome as my colouring is not that skillful enough. Hence, monochrome method will be more suitable more me to better convey the nature journal.
Week 4
I have finalised all my sketches and rendering stuff, make sure they are all neat and the wording are clear to see and read.

REFLECTION
DIGITAL LITERACY
This task needs a lot of professional information as the species of flora and fauna are not something same as the ones I study in high school. This task needed more detailed elaboration using an info-graphic manner. The Internet really helps me out a lot and it is such a nice experience for me to learn, understand and cherish the nature.
LIFELONG LEARNING
During this assignment, there's only one tutorial to guide us. After that, we need to work on ourselves to a better understanding of the natural elements. I never study on specific species or the nature phenomenon before, it is really satisfying and fresh to know all those by my own research
THINKING AND PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS
First time using the info-graphic approach to complete an entirely fresh assignment really make me be stress out at first, as to extract out the exact information needed me to focus on it and being attentive in the process. It is really challenging and involving many thinking and problem-solving session.
