PROJECT 2. Designing with Architectural Principles + Materiality
( Tropical Rainforest Discovery Platform )
Task: generate and craft a Tropical Rainforest Discovery Platform with spatial experience, with a maximum volume of 125 m3.
Learning Outcomes :
• To stimulate our thinking and discussion about space(s) and its qualities through architectural conceptualisation - Architectural design intentions and objectives.
• To demonstrate the significance of using the craft and making arts: drawing(s) and model(s) as critical design tools in the design process.

TANZEN
By the beach, it is surrounded by the Osa trees and marine life. Strolling along the beach, breathing in the salty air while entering “TANZEN". and starting to smell the woodsy scent.
Darkness enveloped the space, passing through the timber walls, creating a sense of chaotic. As in real life, we are constantly confronted with new challenges.
Move on to the second space, where lights help to lead the path. When we are struggling, we can always seek support from others.
As there's a gap between the steps, when trying to step over it, indicates that we have slowly opened up to make a new attempt.
On the platform, we can see the big picture of what we've been through, and we can finally relax with a sunset view.
