DESIGN COMMUNICATION
For this module, using online learning platforms, for instance, Times, Teams and Facebook, let us student can grasp all the essential information right away, it is convenient for us to get all the newest status of our class and what we have to prepare before our class so that the lecture and tutorial can go on smoothly. Our module coordinator, Miss Lia, always shows us understanding and teaches us in a fun way too. My tutor, Mr Zahari, will always tell us how to score better on our assignments and also teach us wholeheartedly.
Project 1
Movie Poster.
Freehand manual drawing on A3 size paper with a fusion of man-made and natural elements.
Using simple colour scheme and eye-catching title to express the poster which is a horror genre movie.
Project 2
This project provided us with a great opportunity to assess both our skills in orthographic drawings and drawing conventions in construction methods and elements.
The study of the relationship between each drawing was critical because we understand that the floor plan of the building directs the path of subsequent drawings such as elevations, sections, axonometry, perspectives, and so on.
Project 3
We were required to come out with a scaled model and also a set of orthographic drawings to reflect materiality, spatial arrangements & etc.
And also generating the Blippar app to show our presentation board in 3D.

Overall Reflection
DCOM is quite a challenging module for me, as it requires both design and technical skills for the projects, I'm able to learn and get in touch with my tutor, Ms Lia and Mr Zahari to better communicate through the problems I faced during this module. They are both lovely lecturers who are always there for me. Thanks to them, my projects have done effectively and manage to finish on time
LIFELONG LEARNING
In this module, self-learning and improving are important, as we need to understand all the information given so that we can have a smooth progress when doing our assignment. Learning from peers is also how we can go with, so that we can manage to utilise the things we have learnt. I believe there are a lot more things for us to master in the future
Through this module, I wonder how the thinking process is vital for us to have a clearer understanding. In the meanwhile, there must be some uncertainty that we need to clarify when conducting our assignment, either we have to choose to ask our lecturer or we need to do our own research using an online platform to help us move on and have to learn new things during this journey.
Acquire good communication skills in this module is also a must. As we will have not only individual tasks but also group work tasks. Hence, by using a proper way to express our point of view we can impress others. Another side, we will also need to get in touch with our tutor so that we know what's the weak side and also what kind of improvement we needed in our task. By communicating, we can get hints and work for it.
